Prepare students for their secondary or higher-level education, and to lay a solid foundation for their next learning careers.
为学生的中学或者更高阶段的教育做好准备,为他们未来的学习生涯奠定良好的基础。
小学五年级的充分准备是帮助孩子顺利过渡到小学六年级的关键。因此,“嗨!华文”除了帮助孩子掌握小学五年级课程大纲外,还将通过强化练习和复习,让学生提前掌握小六会考的问题格式。这可以让孩子在小学六年级时,更加自信地应对小六离校考试(PSLE),取得更好的成绩 。
P5 Paper2 提升班
P5CL Paper 2 提升班/ P5HCL Paper 2 提升班(小学阶段学习高级华文的学生并不是不学普华内容,所以我们在设计高华课程时会兼顾普华和高华的要求)
字词讲解
说明:按照小六会考考试范围对五年级普华课本字词进行编写,高级华文课程则在普华字词基础上多出了20%到30%的词汇量。
内容:注音、解释、例句、构词、词辩、词语搭配。
目的:首先对重点词语进行讲解,每个字词都会搭配相应的图片,帮助学生记忆。
语文应用
说明:根据重点内容,结合最新考题编写。
内容:拼音、辨字、词语辨析、解释词语、虚词、句子选择。
目的:通过考察练习,让学生对字词的掌握更加灵活、牢固。

高华课程会在普华题型基础上加入高华阅读理解专项训练。
阅读理解一 :书面互动 (短信、便条、电邮、邀请卡等)
阅读理解二 :故事类、说明文
目的:通过典型篇章的训练,学生可以掌握各种常见题目的答题方法,学会总结文章的中心思想,以及完整准确地回答问题
P5 CO作文口试提高班
作文
“主题”式作文教学 (例:助人为乐、勇于认错、诚实守信等)
第一课时: 作文技能讲解、学习好词佳句、每日阅读计划
第二课时: 同步作文练习,每日阅读计划
第三课时: 口试训练
第四课时: 作文测试(加入命题作文、情景作文及完成文章的审题方法和写作思路)
口试
说明:根据最新的小学离校考试口试题型编写教材,收录了贴近学生生活的主题内容。
内容:朗读短文、看视频会话
目的:通过模拟实际考试环境的模拟口试,培养学生现场回答疑难问题的信心。扩展学生的日常口语词汇,提高学生的观察、思维、表达等能力,鼓励学生深入思考时事和社会话题。
听力
说明:根据小学华文听力考试编写教材。
内容:通告、对话、说明、新闻、生活小故事等。
Adequate preparation in P5 is the key to help children smoothly transition to P6. Hence, besides helping the children to master P5 material, Hi chinese will also go through intensive practice and review, so students will be able to master the question pattern for P6 exam in advance. This allow children to be prepared with great confidence for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) and achieve great results.
P5 Paper2 Enhancement Class
P5CL material is made for both P5 normal and higher Chinese, and aims to nurture the students basic reading, recognizing words and writing, CL (paper 2) test paper for exercises/training.
Vocabulary explanation.
The P5CL material vocabulary is compiled according to the scope of the Primary Sixth Examination. The HCL course has 20% to 30% more vocabulary than P5CL material
Content: phonetic notation, explanation, example, word formation, word matching.
Purpose: First, the key words will be explained, and each word will be paired with a corresponding picture to help students remember.
Language Application
Description: Based on key content, combined with the latest examination questions.
Content: Pinyin, Character, Word Differentiation, Explanation of vocab, Function Words, Sentence Selection.
Purpose: Through examination practice, students can achieve a more flexible and solid grasp of words and phrases.
*In the HCL course, more reading comprehension will be added
Reading Comprehension 1: Written Interaction (Text messages, notes, emails, invitations, etc.)
Reading Comprehension 2: Stories, Expository Texts
Purpose: Through training with typical passages, students can master various common question types, learn to summarize the central ideas of articles, and provide complete and accurate answers.
P5 CO Composition and Oral Presentation Enhancement Class
Composition
"Thematic" Composition Teaching (ex: Helping Others, brave and honesty etc topics)
First Lesson: Explanation of Composition Skills, Learning Good Words and Phrases, Daily Reading Plan
Second Lesson: Composition Practice, Daily Reading Plan
Third Lesson: Oral Training
Fourth Lesson: Composition Test (Including Theme-based Essays, Situation-based Essays, and Methods for Understanding and Writing Essays)
Oral Examination
Description: Based on the latest PSLE oral test formats, material is compiled with themes closely related to students' lives.
Content: Reading short passages, watching conversations video
Purpose: Through simulating the actual examination environment of oral tests, students cultivate confidence in answering difficult questions on the spot. Expand students' daily spoken vocabulary, improve their observation, thinking, and expressive abilities, encourage students to think deeply about current affairs and social topics.
Listening
Description: materials are compiled based on primary school Chinese listening examinations.
Content: Announcements, dialogues, explanations, news, everyday stories, etc.

P6 Paper2 Enhancement Class
In the final year of preparation, we will actively work with your child to prepare for the Primary Six Leaving Examination (PSLE) to ensure they achieve outstanding results. Through intensive practice and review of past papers, analysis of common error types, and assistance in consolidating learned knowledge, we aim to help students integrate their knowledge, adapt to the exam rhythm, and maintain their best condition before the exam!
P6CL / P6HCL (For students studying HCL during primary school, it does not mean they do not study content related to CL material. Therefore, when designing the HCL course, we will take into account the requirements of both CL and HCL).
Vocabulary explanation.

Content: In-depth Analysis of Examination Papers from Prestigious Schools
Purpose: Through training with typical passages, students can master various common question-answering methods, learn to summarize the central ideas of articles, and provide complete and accurate answers to questions.
P6CO Essay and Oral Presentation Enhancement Class
"Thematic" Style Essays (e.g., Helping Others, Courage to Admit Mistakes, Honesty and Integrity, etc.)
First Lesson: Essay Writing Skills, Learning Good Phrases and Sentences, Daily Reading Plan
Second Lesson: Synchronous Essay Writing, Daily Reading Plan
Third Lesson: Oral Presentation Training
Fourth Lesson: Essay Test (Including Propositonal Essays, Situation-based Essays, and methods and writing strategies for completing articles)
Oral Examination
Description: Textbooks are compiled based on the latest primary school exit examination oral test formats, covering topics closely related to students' lives.
Purpose: Through simulating the actual examination environment of oral tests, the aim is to cultivate students' confidence in answering difficult questions on the spot. Additionally, the material aims to expand students' daily spoken vocabulary, enhance their observation, thinking, and expressive abilities, and encourage students to think deeply about current affairs and social topics.
PSLE Listening
Description: This course selects challenging questions from recent years' PSLE listening comprehension tests, providing explanations and practice for "trap questions" and contentious items. It aims to train students' listening and analytical skills, equipping them with effective answering techniques, while analyzing the patterns in PSLE listening comprehension question formulation.
Purpose: To enhance students' listening comprehension and analytical abilities, enabling them to master effective answering strategies through practice and examination of question patterns in PSLE listening comprehension tests.
